[Greasemonkey]Retweet Script Update

Posted by: Carl In: development| twitter

I use Twitter.com as my main Twittering source instead of an app, for various reasons.  One of the problems with it was that I could not retweet via the website.  I found a Greasemonkey (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748) script that did just that (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/26500) by Ziru (http://twitter.com/ziru), only problem was that it refreshed the entire page to retweet.  So, I took the script, and updated it with some jQuery so that it did a retweet without a refresh.

Script available here: http://iworkwithcomputers.com/dev/twitter_enhancements_ret.user.js

Happy tweeting!

About

I'm an ASP.NET developer who loves learning new frameworks, and methodologies, and I absolutely love simple, yet elegant solutions (don't we all?). Since I'm constantly picking up new things, I'm always asking myself how I can use the new knowledge in my current app to make it better, or more user friendly (or even more developer friendly). In my free time I typically am coding, reading tech books or spending time with my beautiful bride. And that's about it. Hope I didn't bore you too much.
